Best ways to boost the shine
Got style fatigue? Spark up your look by using different finishing products, says Sandi Floeck, a top image consultant based in Dallas, TX
"Right now, I like a matte pomade, which adds a touch of shine and texture without making hair look greasy," says Floeck. "Use it after you blow-dry to piece-out disconnected strands; it also changes how your haircolor looks."
To brighten color, choose a pearlized, wet styling product. For a quick snip that adds excitement, have one long, disconnected piece added in front of your ear, behind it ar over a half bang. The only caveat: It should be at least three inches longer than the rest of your hair. Otherwise, says Floeck, it'll just look like a bad haircut.
